LAUREN Goodger was supported by her Towie co-star Amy Childs on This Morning today as she opened up on her tough time since her daughter Lorena passed away.

The TV star tragically lost her second child after a traumatic childbirth in 2022.

Lorena, who Lauren previously described as the "most beautiful healthy baby she'd ever seen" died minutes after she was born after her umbilical cord became wrapped around her neck.

On Monday, reality TV legend Lauren, 37, spoke to presenters Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond about her struggle to "find herself" in recent years before returning to Towie alongside Amy, 33.

Lauren, who is also mum to four year old daughter Larose, said: "I went through a very traumatic time, sort of lost myself completely.

"I was sort of in the healing process, which I still am.

"But I was just… all I could be was a mum, nothing else, I wasn't interested in work.

";But now this is a new year, and I feel that I found who I am again, I completely lost myself."

The reality TV favourite also admitted her return to Towie felt like "coming home".

Lauren continued: "But I think obviously with everything else, it was just the right time for me, and I went back home. Towie's my home.

"It's where I started. Everyone's so lovely, and everyone is so kind and it's so different now."

Amy turned Lauren and agreed, telling her pal: "It was amazing, it was like having Lauren home."

She recent said: "Losing my second daughter, the break up, everything that went on around that time, I just went into my own bubble of being a mum.

"It was Larose that kept me going.

"You'll never get over it. You never move on. But you learn to live and heal. I do want to help other people get through it because I can't.

"I can't explain. You would never be able to tell someone the feeling of losing your own child, no one should ever experience that.

"It changes you as a person because it's something missing.

"It's a heartache feeling every day

Lauren split from ex Charles Drury, the father of her girls after he was accused of attacking her on the day of Lorena's funeral.

He was charged with assault and engaging in controlling or coercive behaviour, but he denied all charges and Lauren dropped her support for the case. A not guilty verdict was recorded.

They have have tried to maintain a constructive co-parenting relationship for Larose's sake.

Lauren, who rushed Larose to A&E on Saturday, told : "It has not been easy, but we're at a place at the minute where it is running smoothly."

She added: "Charles sees Larose very regularly."
