EastEnders pulled off air in latest BBC schedule shake-up – and fans already think they know why
EASTENDERS will lose its usual Thursday night slot later this month as the BBC rolls out a fresh schedule swap.
The broadcaster has announced that there will be no episode on Thursday 18th April.
Instead, an extended hour-long episode will air on Wednesday 17th April at 7:30pm on BBC One.
Below the annnouncement fans were quick to come forward with their own theories about the reshuffled episodes.
Most are convinced an arrest or confession is looming after Keanu Taylor’s body was found - and think this will form the bulk of the double episode.
The mechanic, who was played by actor Danny Walters in the BBC soap, was killed at Christmas by Linda Carter.

Viewers know he was trying to kill Sharon Watts and Linda saved her by stabbing Keanu instinctively with a close-at-hand meat thermometer.
The two women - and Denise Fox, Stacey Slater, Suki Panesar and Kathy Beale - covered up his death and buried him under the café.
His rotting corpse was finally found - but not before Jack Branning managed to remove wife Denise’s necklace from the site.
He had caught Denise and Stacey attempting to do it themselves and stepped in to stop them making any mistakes.
And just in the nick of time he managed it, before a drunk Bernie Taylor and Alfie Moon stumbled in and made the horrifying discovery.
Soon police cars swirled around and Bernie told all the neighbours how there was a body in the café.
