The vet has been slowly exerting his control over wife Belle Dingle in recent weeks.

In episodes this week, Tom drove a wedge between Belle and Vinny Dingle by making it seem like he had lost her new dog, Piper.
And in upcoming Emmerdale scenes, things escalated even further.
When Tom thinks he’s missing out on a veterinary work trip he’s upset, but Vanessa saves the day for him and Tom prepares for the trip.
Belle expresses her worry at being left alone - following what she believes was a real robbery, when it was actually faked by Tom.

However, viewers know she won't be truly alone, as Tom has used a 'pup cam' as a means to keep an eye on his wife whenever he isn't there.
Once at the hotel, Tom prioritises watching his wife go about her business on the hidden camera but is incensed to see Vinny arrive.
Tom’s infuriated the more he watches and grabs his keys to travel home.
With a face like thunder, furious Tom arrives home but Belle is not there, and he’s frustrated as he struggles to locate her on his tracker app.
