EMMERDALE fans have rumbled an evil villain's return with a revenge twist - insisting there's 'no way' a villager has gotten away with getting rid of them.
The ITV soap has had a number of villainous villagers over the years, with fans desperate for them to get their comeuppance.
Lately, their main target has been Amit Sharma, who was revealed to have killed his brother Rishi before scheming to get money out of Emmerdale residents like Eric Pollard to pay off his debts back in India.
However, at the end of last month, Jai figured out what his biological dad was up to, and got him to confess to killing Rishi, who he had always believed was his father.
Taking him to task in Rishi’s house, Jai made Amit talk him through everything that happened with his dad before his death.
And after enough pressure, Amit buckled and started verbally lashing out.

“You say Rishi was a good man but when I needed his help he turned his back on me,” snarled Amit before he confessed that he pushed Rishi.
“Finally,” said Jai. “Thank you.”
And with that he pushed Amit down the stairs himself, taking revenge for his dad.
While Amit didn't die from the fall like Rishi, Jai wanted to finish the job but was stopped by Eric, who had arrived just in time.

Outside Jai revealed he had been secretly recording Amit’s confession in an effort to send him to prison.
But once Eric had left, Jai told Amit that he had another plan in mind.
“I did want you to be the one to do it, but then I had another thought and I’ll be honest with you, you’re probably going to like this even less,” he said.
Later Jai was seen cleaning blood from the stairs and hallway while telling Laurel on the phone he was still at work.
But Emmerdale fans are convinced that's not the last they have seen of Amit, even though he has remained off-screen in the episodes since Jai's revenge.
Taking to X - formerly Twitter - one requoted a previous tweet that read: "here was me thinking they would drag this till ssw… if Amit came on screen October and it was a 6 months contract he’ll be gone by April… good riddance."
They added in a new tweet: "I stand by this, I do think he comes back and gets back at jai through someone he loves…in may/june or earlier. it's just too easy for jai to have gotten away with all this."
Another added: "I can kind of see how Jai is protecting Suni but if Amit ever comes back it will backfire sighs."
A third was even convinced Amit is the person behind the mystery calls Kerry Wyatt has been receiving during the last few episodes.
They wrote: "I think this secret person Kerry is on phone to is Amit. He’s the only one struggling for money I can think of."

Another replied to their post: "This would be good, I wonder where he is after the fight with Jai? He's already shown he's not above scamming for money."
