Britain’s Got Talent reveals new spin off show – two years after ITV2 show was cancelled
BRITAIN'S Got Talent is launching a fresh spin-off show two years after the original follow-up was axed.
The ITV reality series has been confirmed to return to screens on April 20.
Previously, The Sun shared a first-look at the panel hitting their Golden Buzzers - with the excitement higher than ever.
Now show bosses have announced spin-off BGT Reacts and promised some "truly fun and unique moments" to boot.
Yet - in contrast to a full TV show - each episode will last just 15 minutes.
Released straight after the Saturday's Britain's Got Talent episode on ITVX, it will follow the format of the social media "react" videos.

The broadcaster has vowed it will feature "zany humour" and "hilarious reactions to the brilliant auditions" courtesy of the UK's leading content creators.
They will take a scan of the highlights and share their thoughts and feelings on the acts.
The hosts will also be joined by BGT alumni for extra insider insights as well as a handful of famous faces.
Charlie Irwin, Managing Director of Thames (a Fremantle label) said of the partnership: "Collaborating with both content creators and celebrities, we know that BGT Reacts will deliver some truly fun and unique moments, for the ITVX viewers."
Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment Commissioning ITV then added: “As well as being one of the favourite parts of the series for traditional linear viewers, we know that the auditions generate a huge social footprint online each series.
"We can’t wait to amplify this viewer engagement through brand new ITVX series BGT Reacts, working with some of the UK’s most successful influencers and content creators - all big fans of Britain’s Got Talent.”
Britain's Got Talent will see the return of judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli.
Show presenters Ant and Dec will also make a comeback and front the quest to find the successor to 2023 champ, Viggo Venn.
Previously, ITV decided to scrap the original spin-off, Britain’s Got More Talent, which had always been presented by Stephen Mulhern.
At the time, bosses told how they wanted to focus their attention on the main run of the programme, as well as the social media channels.
Buzz on
The Sun was first to let slip how a whopping three Golden Buzzers were used on the first day of auditions at the London Palladium.
An insider said: "Bruno was almost moved to tears watching his golden buzzer dance act, and was first to slam down on the button so hard it cracked.
“He was shortly followed by Simon, who sent a Japanese dance act through to the live shows.
“And finally, Amanda was so impressed by a female theatre singer that she was keen to give a shot in the live rounds.
“She was last to press the buzzer.”
If the same show rules are adhered to, there are only three Golden Buzzer chances left.
Once a golden buzzer is pressed, the act gets an automatic place in the live semi-finals, competing for a chance to win a life changing £250,000 cash prize and a spot on the bill of the Royal Variety Performance.

Additionally, out of the nine golden buzzer performers sent through, only four are home-grown.
BGT Reacts will drop on ITVX every week, during the brand-new series of Britain’s Got Talent, which will return on Saturday 20th April at 7:30pm, ITV1 and ITVX.
