STRICTLY professional dancer Johannes Radebe has not yet been for the next series.
The shock news about the fan favourite comes amid rumours he's set to quit the BBC show.
Instead he's focusing on being on tour with his own show, House of Jojo - as well as making his musical debut as Lola in Kinky Boots.
Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show this weekend about Strictly, Johannes said: "I’m still waiting for that phone call. Fingers crossed.
"Jonathan, everybody wants this job. It is great to be a part of it because there are people waiting in the wings to snatch the job.”
He added: “I have to say I’ve spent the last seven years in this country and it has been absolutely wonderful.

"I feel seen and that experience really brought a certain confidence to me that I cannot tell you - I’ve never had that.
"It’s restored my faith in humanity, that experience. To hear people give feedback as to how beautiful it was, that really humbles me.”
A BBC spokesperson said: “The professional dancers for 2024 will be announced in due course.”
Johannes became the first all-male couple with celeb dance partner John Whaite to reach the final.

They were beaten by Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice.
“He lifted me like I was a piece of feather," Johannes said.
"I’m a well built man and I’ve always lifted women and I know the level of care that goes into that.
"For me to experience it for the first time was quite special and I have to thank John Whaite for being really caring with me.
"He was quite patient while I was trying to figure it out. The truth is for the first time in my life I’ve had somebody say to me ‘I’ve got you.”
Presenter and former GBBO star John revealed how he fell in love with Johannes during the show - despite being engaged to his long-term partner.
Admitting he nearly became a victim of the "Strictly curse", John told The Times: "I fell in love with him [Johannes].
"I can't speak for him - because I'm not allowed to, legally - but it felt like there was love there.
"We had such similar stories growing up - the homophobia, the bullying, coming out, coming to terms with our sexuality - as any queer kid would."

He then stated: "I still love Johannes. Of course I do."
Asked by Jonathan on how long he plans to continue dancing, Johannes added: “I will do it for as long as my bones will allow", before adding: "And then after that I will come for Craig’s job.”
