A MASTERCHEF contestant has given a health update as they returned to the show following a horror accident.
Londoner Charlotte left viewers stunned when she had a mishap in the TV kitchen earlier this week.
The IT programmer from London preparing spicy vegan dumplings when her knife slipped.
Charlotte shouted for help as cameras panned, revealing she had sliced the top of her finger off.
Holding her wound as it poured with blood, she looked panicked as she told the film crew she'd cut herself and needed a plaster.
John Torode rushed over and said: "I'm sorry to say this, but you've actually cut the top of your finger off."

Following the ordeal, the 42-year-old returned to MasterChef tonight and gave a health update.
As she was welcomed back by Gregg Wallace, Charlotte could be seen sporting a bandage on her finger.
She told the 59-year-old: "I'm good thanks, I'm healing well.
"I'm so happy to be back."

Despite the setback the vegan was delighted after being put through to the next round.
After watching Charlotte slice her finger open earlier in the week queasy fans had flooded social media with comments.
One wrote: "Did they have to show us the top of her finger cut off?"
Another said: "I was not prepared for someone chopping the end of their finger off in the first 30seconds of #MasterChef tonight."
"Charlotte cooking with a bit of claret. Good bloody start," wrote a third.
"Vegan food can be really exciting! *immediately chops own finger into the meal*" added another.
