GREGG Wallace snapped at a contestant after they served him an under cooked dish as John Torode observed.
The MasterChef judges were back at the helm of the show on Thursday as the competition continued.
Viewers watched as six contestants battled it out for a place in the next round - with only five spots up for grabs.
During the show Patricia made a spicy chilli butternut squash curry, that was inside roasted butternut squash.
She flavoured the dish with butter, sage, brown sugar and cinnamon.
But while her creation appeared to tick all the right boxes on paper, when it came to Gregg Wallace and John Torode things went horribly wrong.

As he took a bite, Gregg said: "That's not cooked.
"There is a sweetness, a creamy sweetness to it and a little bit of chilli, I like your flavours but even the bits that are stewed here, there's still a thick skin on them.
"That's virtually inedible."
John Torode echoed Gregg, but added: "I'm sad the outside of that butternut squash isn't cooked all the way through because it would have been really nice actually."

Despite the mishap Patricia made it through to the next round as David was sent packing.
