Britain’s Got Talent fans slam show after judges’ U-turn saying ‘they didn’t even look like they enjoyed’ act
BRITAIN'S Got Talent's judges panel have baffled fans by 'suddenly U-turning' on an act.
On Saturday night's show, comedian Darren Watson made a brave return to the ITV talent show tonight after he was rejected last year.
The Stockport-based funnyman performed some of his best puns on the judges, but not all of the panel understood his jokes.
Darren kicked off his routine with a classic dad joke saying: "I'm not having much luck with dating, the only dates I get are PC updates."
But his lighthearted puns were met by a room of silence.
However, he finally won them over with a string one-line puns, with Simon Cowell comparing him to a 'Christmas cracker'.

All four judges put him through - but it sparked problems with fans who thought Bruno Tonioli was struggling to understand Darren.
"The comedian act, Bruno didn’t get it and Amanda seemed like she wasn’t going to put him through so why did Bruno and Amanda put him through because they didn’t look like they particularly enjoy it," one fan wrote on Reddit.
Another commented that David Walliams - who Bruno replaced - would've 'lapped up' the act in a way that Bruno didn't, suggesting it was down to the star being Italian, not English.
"Won over by the audience reaction perhaps," the writer noted. "I think Amanda liked him enough."
The latest comment comes just a week after viewers joined Bruno in 'feeling sick' over an act where a woman belched ABBA track The Winner Takes It All to the audience - but then put her through anyway.
At the time he explained his decision by saying: "[I'm saying yes] just because I can't possibly imagine how you're going to out gross this grossness. I'll change it around."
The ITV talent show has only aired the second week of auditions after returning last week.
The series has promised 'bigger than better' than ever before, though some fans have become increasingly sceptical of the series.
Over the four episodes aired alone, fans have slammed the fact multiple acts have returned, or previously been on a past version of the 'Got Talent' franchise from around the world.
However, the series allows anyone, regardless of their professional history, to take a shot at a the spotlight.
The winner will perform in front of King Charles at the annual Royal Variety Show.
