A TOP-RATED crime drama will be returning to UK screens after a hugely successful response to the show.
US crime-drama Tokyo Vice starring Ansel Elgort and Ken Watanabe premiered its first season on BBC One in November 2022.
Taking place in 1999, the plot follows American journalist Jake Adelstein, who has relocated to Tokyo and must pass a written exam to have the opportunity to become a staff member at a major Japanese newspaper.
Under the guidance of Hiroto Katagiri, a veteran detective in the vice squad, Jake starts to explore the violent world of the Japanese yakuza.
The series is based on a 2009 book of the same name, written by Jake Adelstein.
Season 2 has already aired for US audiences, beginning in February and concluding on April 4.
