"My borderline personality disorder makes me love hard, but the downside is a huge fear of abandonment – it’s a rollercoaster.

"Everyone always mentions their “crazy ex” so this track is for the crazies as sometimes they can’t help it!"

She said that she wanted to write an "upbeat" song about what it's like living with the disorder to "take the power away".

Janet, who has been singing since she was just five years old, recently toured with

She joined Russell and his band in Australia where she opened their performances.

The opportunity came about with the help of Ed Sheeran.

Speaking on The Six O'Clock Show, Janet said: "I did a cover of Bad Habits on my YouTube channel and he [Ed Sheeran] clipped it and tweeted it out.

"Then  liked it and Quote tweeted it and just went 'Yeah'.

"And then he started tweeting out my music and I thought that was it."

The Gladiator star ended up contacting the Irish star to come to Australia.

Janet said: "Then we tried to organise a gig that kind of went through.

"And right before Christmas he's like 'Do you want to open for my gigs in Australia' and I was like 'Say less, obviously yes'."

Janet and her band stayed on Russell's ranch with them.

She said how she was "terrified" to meet him, joking that she "didn't have a chilled bone in her body".

On the first night at Russell's house, she said that she "messed up" on first impressions.

"We got in and everybody filled up their plates and we sat down - my keyboard player dug in and I was nibbling away at a carrot," she said.

"And he came down and was like 'We wait till everybody sits down before we eat' and I was like 'Oh swallow me up, I want to die'.
