MARK Wright is said to have taken action after "being left furious" over Towie scenes - and has sparked a new feud with Amy Childs.
It comes after Mark's ex girlfriend Lauren Goodger made an explosive return to the ITVBe show after nine years away.
Last month on the reality show, Lauren discussed a tattoo she had of Mark's name in an intimate area during a catch-up with Amy.
But now an insider has revealed that Mark, 37, is fed up with his name being mentioned by his ex on the show.
An insider told us: "Mark doesn't want to be associated with Towie at all these days, and hates his name being brought up on the show - especially when it's to do with his relationship with Lauren.
"A member of his team contacted Towie producers to remind them that he doesn't want to be discussed or featured on the show, so could they not keep dragging up the past.

"Bosses were quite amused as ultimately, Mark wouldn't be where he is today without the show and a big part of that was his messy love life."
As well as giving Towie a ticking off, the insider tells us Mark is also annoyed with Amy for bringing him up.
"He believes Amy knew what she was doing when she brought Mark up to Lauren in front of the cameras and he thinks she did it to wind him up.
"He understands some fomer towie stars want to go back on the show and rehash the past, but he'd rather it stay in the past."

She then asked Lauren: "Have you still got it?" before Lauren quipped: "No. It's gone. It had to go.
"How could I get with a new boy with that on my noon?"
