In the show Donny, a fictionalised version of creator Richard Gadd, researches his new acquaintance only to find news clippings showing she was jailed for accusing a former employer and her husband of abusing their deaf child.

The clipping tells how Scott, was jailed for four-and-a-half years.

And at the the end of Netflix's most-watched show, Martha is imprisoned for nine months and given a five-year restraining order for stalking.

However, Fiona Harvey, 58, has dramatically hit back at the shows portrayal.

She told the : “I’ve not been to prison. I don’t know where the four-and-a-half years and nine months comes in.

“Gadd needs to prove I went to jail which just didn’t happen. I’ve never been sent to jail. That is blatantly obvious.

“Police at your door would be the first thing, then you’d be charged, then you would have a trial. Then you’d be fined or something or go to prison.

“This is all made up and hyperbole. There are no restraining orders, injunctions or interdicts anywhere. There’s just no way. I’ve not had the police at my door about any of these things.

“It’s a load of rubbish. I don’t have any money but I’m a perfectly capable lawyer so I will represent myself.”

Baby Reindeer follows barman Donny Dunn as his life falls apart at the hands of an obsessive stalker - played by Jessica Gunning, 38, after he offers her a cup of tea in a London bar.

Viewers see how Martha bombards the comic with more than 41,000 emails, 744 tweets, 100 pages of letters and 350 hours of voicemails over a four-year reign of terror.

Gadd claimed he went to great lengths to conceal the identity of the woman who stalked him in real life and has begged fans not to search for her.

The seven-part series is inspired by Gadd's 2019 Edinburgh Fringe show of the same name.

We previously told how Harvey said she would sue the streaming giant over the portrayal of Martha.

And we revealed how Ms Harvey had allegedly harassed two senior Scottish Labour politicians.

She came into contact with the late Glasgow MP Jimmy Wray, who died aged 78 in 2013, and his solicitor wife Laura, 62, when she was a former Labour Party member.

Mrs Wray told how she gave Aberdeen Uni law graduate Ms Harvey a trainee role at legal firm McPhail Lawrence Partnership in 1997.

But she sacked her just days later because she was “completely incapable of behaving herself”.

Mrs Wray was then allegedly harassed by Ms Harvey — who was known at the time as Fiona Muir.

It’s also alleged Ms Harvey, originally from Fyvie, Aberdeenshire, had earlier harassed late First Minister Donald Dewar and made a bid to be nominated by Labour for a Holyrood seat.

This week Gadd revealed that he banned his parents from watching the show.

It comes after it emerged Baby Reindeer frontman Gadd made more than £1 million from his comedy career before the success of the hit show.
