BRITAIN'S GOT Talent group The Simon Cowell Choir have revealed the ITV judge's sweet gesture after he was left stunned by their appearance on-stage.
The show star, 64, couldn't believe his eyes when a hundred of his look-a-likes belted out a tune during Saturday's episode.
On Monday, five of the choir's members opened up on their Britain's Got Talent experience on ITV daytime show Lorraine.
From a live link in Rugby, they told stand-in host Christine Lampard, 45, of Simon's off-screen gesture.
One member said: "he actually came on the stage after and he spent so long hugging everyone and saying hi to everyone which was so lovely."
Another added: "We idolise him.

"For what he has done for the entertainment industry not just nationally but globally.
"That's why we wanted to do a tribute to him.
"Then for him to come on stage and just spend time talking to us and saying thank you, you know what, it just made us glad we did this.
"Dream come true to meet him as well."

Simon's shock
The music mogul was left absolutely stunned when a hundred of his look-a-likes took to the stage this weekend.
At first, the group - who donned white shirts, jet-black wigs and sunglasses - started off with one member singing a rendition of Tina Turner's Simply the Best.
Yet the situation escalated as a 100-strong group of Simon lookalikes then poured onto the stage.
The camera captured him putting his hands to his head as he gasped: “Oh my God."
An audience member then exclaimed: “They keep coming!” as the enormous group continued to arrive on stage.
Backstage, Ant cheekily swiped: “It’s like a nightmare I had once."
