WHEN Phoebe Dynevor sashayed up the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art this week, all eyes were on the Bridgerton star for two very different reasons.
Not only was she debuting Victoria Beckham’s first-ever custom-made Met Gala dress, she was also sporting a stonking great sparkler on her left hand.
Proudly holding it up for all to see, she seemed to be sending a strong message to the world that, despite a few high-profile relationships, the daughter of Corrie actress Sally Dynevor was officially off the market.
And her mum, who has played Sally Webster on the ITV soap for nearly 40 years, shared a snap on Instagram of her 29-year-old daughter jumping into the arms of boyfriend Cameron Fuller, 28.
Their joyful embrace fuelled speculation the two were celebrating getting engaged.
It was as if, in true Bridgerton style, the “diamond of the season” had made her match.

No wonder that Victoria Beckham had chosen Phoebe to launch her Met Gala debut.
Glowing in the stunning pale pink creation, with the flowers hand-dyed to match Phoebe’s skin tone, she was the epitome of an English rose.
“It’s like something out of a fairytale” Phoebe gushed to British Vogue — revealing the first pop concert she ever went to was The Spice Girls.
Quite fitting, then, that the actress wore a second VB design to the Met Gala after-party.

Victoria told Vogue: “We decided to use vintage lace, as there was something quite romantic about reviving it and bringing it back to life — much like a sleeping beauty.”
‘Lots of hard lessons’
Cameron — the son of A Quiet Place and The Purge producer Bradley Fuller — is no stranger to the spotlight, yet he and Phoebe have been extremely private about their relationship.
The pair have only been pictured together a handful of times since rumours started swirling early last year that they were together.
They confirmed their romance when they attended Wimbledon together last summer, and Phoebe was Cameron’s date for actress Joey King’s wedding in September.
Then, earlier this year, they attended the BAFTAs together.
It’s a far cry from their previous very public relationships.
YouTuber Cameron — who’s had bit parts in US shows — briefly dated Pretty Little Liars actress Lucy Hale before a three-year relationship with influencer Lauren Elizabeth.
Throughout their time together, Cameron and Lauren regularly posted videos of them being overly affectionate towards each other for Lauren’s 1.2million YouTube subscribers.
In one cringe-inducing clip, titled “Boyfriend tag,” they reveal how they met at a club when Lauren was “flirting” with Cameron’s YouTube co-star and pal Gregg Sulkin.
Lauren calls Cameron the “love of my life” many times, while he continuously tells her: “I love you.”
They then reveal how Cameron took Lauren in a helicopter above LA for their first date, then whisked her to Rihanna’s favourite restaurant which Lauren had been “trying to get into for ages”.
“My friends thought I was getting proposed to,” she gushes.
But their relationship has nothing on Phoebe’s high-profile romance with comic Pete Davidson, 30.
When they began dating in 2021, he was one of Saturday Night Live’s biggest stars, aided by the fact he had a five-month relationship with singer Ariana Grande in 2018, with the pair even getting engaged.
Meanwhile, Phoebe had only just been thrust into the spotlight thanks to her starring role in Netflix hit series Bridgerton.
Prior to that, she’d appeared in shows as diverse as BBC One school drama Waterloo Road and The Musketeers — a 2015 series based on the classic novel.
And she admits she wasn’t prepared for the amount of public attention she and Pete got.
Phoebe told Elle mag: “It just goes back to being naive — I didn’t think anyone would care.
“I was just being a young woman and dating, and somehow that provokes a conversation.”
Calling her relationship with Pete “surreal”, she said: “There were lots of hard lessons I had to learn through basically just having a personal life.
“You realise, ‘Oh, I can’t live my life in the way that I used to. I have to keep my cards slightly closer to my chest.’
'Celebrity crush'
“There was a time, for example, when I’d post anything on my Instagram, and now I’m very, very careful about what I put out into the world.”
Having been seen out and about together looking affectionate, Pete confirmed the news he and Phoebe were dating in March 2021 while participating in an online Q&A with students at a US university.
When one of the students asked who his celebrity crush was, Pete cheekily replied: “I’m with my celebrity crush.”
The pair made their first public appearance at Wimbledon that July, but called it quits a month later, with Pete living in New York and Phoebe based in London.
Pete went on to have a whirlwind relationship with Kim Kardashian, while Phoebe briefly dated Spider-Man actor Andrew Garfield.
A showbiz source said: “With Pete being so high-profile, the attention she got with him was clearly too much for her.

“It seems choosing to date a lesser-known person than him was quite intentional.
“Let’s hope Cameron is the down-to-earth man she needs in her life.”
Vic stepped up her game on famous stairs
By Clemmie Fieldsend
TOGETHER, Phoebe and Victoria represented the Brits in style with that stunning gown at the Met Gala.
The Bridgerton actress was the perfect model to pose in Victoria’s beautiful creation of lightly folded tulle covered in delicate flowers that was dyed to a faded rose colour – down to her applique pants.
Even though the dress was completely see-through due to its sheer fabric, something about Phoebe’s slicked-back hair and subtle and fresh make-up combined with the elegant gown to make it seem like she wasn’t wearing next to nothing.
It was refreshing compared to a lot of the looks on the famous Gala staircase.
Her graceful appearance did Britain proud and perfectly fitted the “fleeting beauty” theme of the night.
Later, Phoebe slipped out of her gown and into an LBD for the after-party.
As one of Victoria’s own signature looks, this sexy mini with exaggerated sweetheart neck- line was a perfect choice.
The dress capped an out-standing Met Gala debut for the pop star-turned-designer.
Let’s hope next year Victoria has more British leading ladies modelling her gowns.
