Watch emotional moment Clarkson’s Farm fan favourite gets happy ending in tear-jerking finale scenes
Problems have been mounting at Diddly Squat Farm
JEREMY Clarkson was seen rejoicing on his TV show as favourite cow Pepper was saved from the abattoir.
Clarkson’s Farm viewers discovered the animal, who he feared would be slaughtered as she had not conceived, had got pregnant at the 11th hour.
The happy ending to the latest episodes, available from yesterday on Prime Video, saw Sun columnist Jeremy practically jumping for joy when he saw her with calf Tabatha.
He said: “I’m thrilled. The world’s most famous cow is now a mum!
“When I said, ‘What will happen to Pepper?’ they said: ‘Don’t ask questions you don’t want to know the answer to!’ So imagine my surprise nine months later! Yes Pepper got pregnant.”
Jeremy had promised the young daughter of the farmer he bought Pepper from that he would look after her.
But he was heartbroken when he had to send her and half his herd off Diddly Squat Farm because they had not given him any calves.
He was convinced they would only return as burgers and steaks.
Discovering her survival could not have come at a better time as other problems mounted on his farm.
In characteristic style, he added: “That’s fantastic but every- thing is s**t apart from that.”
