The couple ran one of the most remote farms in the UK alongside raising nine kids in the countryside,

Sadly, the series was cancelled by Channel 5 following Amanda and Clive’s divorce

The broadcaster invited Clive and Reuben to create their own spin-off show, which saw the pair embark on a business venture together digging pools in Cumbria.

But the weathered farmer walked away from Beyond the Yorkshire Farm after two seasons.

Now his son has debuted his own series, Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales.

He explained the reason why his dad left their joint programme, saying: “Dad worked with us when I first started setting up the company because I was very new to it and Dad has done all sorts through his life with machinery.

“He showed us the basics of how to keep everything going. When he saw that we’d got it and he didn’t really need to be there he went back to focusing on his sheep and cows like he loves doing.”

In the 20-year-old’s new solo show, cameras follow him as he goes into the second year of his plant machinery business venture.

The country lad  receives his biggest contract yet as the show kicked off.

He was asked to excavate half an acre of silt from a country estate’s pond in Durham.

However, the reality star faced many challenges along the way as the weather turned nasty, making it harder to operate machinery.

He had to use his skills to stop his 14-tonne digger from being swallowed by the heavy summer rain.

Reuben recruited his best friend Tommy and girlfriend Sarah Dow to help with the business, and they have featured on the show as well.
