Viewers noticed how the pair seemed unimpressed with virtually every option

Solihull residents Linda and Paul wanted to find the perfect property in the picturesque resort of Vale do Lobo.

They share two children and have been married for 30 years and they are looking for a new destination to spend more time in on A Place In The Sun.

The duo previously visited the location a number of times before and they planned to spend six months of the year in their new chosen home on Portugal's beautiful Algarve coast.

A whopping £325,000 budget was also available as the couple were looking for a two-bedroom property either close to the coast or a green space.

The golf lovers were also on the lookout for a place that had easy access to the local town and restaurants.

Originally Laura, 42, took them to a stunningly appointed property just outside Vale de Lobo, but it had a price that was significantly lower than those in the area.

Straight away, Linda had reservations as she said it was smaller than she was hoping for, despite the high-end spec and the stunning sea views.

Laura enquired: "Could you see it working for you and the family? Or are you already thinking 'no'?."

To which Linda stated it was not going to work for them as Laura showed them round the rest of the stunning apartment block.

By the end of the show, the pair admitted that one of the four properties they viewed might be in the running.

"Laura was so good today. Facing a couple who thought they knew better and had no intention of buying Laura was so professional," noted a sixth user.

As a seventh watcher remarked: "Pulling teeth with these two. 😩😭😭."
