EMMERDALE fans have demanded that the ‘hypocritical’ mum is axed after she turns on a fan favourite.

Viewers were left utterly perplexed and enraged by Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) when they tuned into the latest instalment of the ITV serial drama.

Previously in Emmerdale, the soap embarked on one of its darkest storylines ever as Ella Foster (Paula Lane) was exposed as a child killer.

The reverberations from this are shaking the village to its very core, especially for Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) and Liam (Jonny McPherson).

They previously hired Ella to work in the surgery alongside them, but now the local residents are having other ideas.

Tracey paid a visit to the devastated duo as she revealed the news that she was taking her business elsewhere to “protect” her family.

She said we was registering with another doctors a while away, as she claimed they “dropped the ball” in hiring Ella and that she does not trust them around her daughter.

Manpreet attempted to talk her round as she defended their actions, but Tracy insisted the damage was already done.

However, viewers were left enraged by her comments, due to her own murky past as a prostitute.

They took to social media in their droves as they accused her of being a ‘hypocrite’ and one even told her to get off her ‘high horse’.

One viewer sarcastically remarked: “See Tracy’s back on the scene…….pity.”

A second noted: “Tracy the ex prostitute, who wants to look after children can’t trust a receptionist, at a doctors office.”

“Put her family first?!!!!! You were f****** your husbands uncle 5 minutes ago you sanctimonious trollop!!!!,” raged a third fan.

As a fourth asked: “Tracey, you were a prozzie but wanted people to forgive your past to start a childcare facility but you don’t want to go to the doc office that unknowingly hired a murderer???”

Meanwhile a fifth stated: “Oh Tracey the saint s** off.”

“Get off your f****** high horse Tracy. For feck sake 🙄,” exclaimed someone else.

As a seventh added: “Oh Tracey get off your high horse after the all c*** you’ve done sanctimonious cow.”
