The Traitors star Charlotte’s wife breaks her silence as she slams ‘cheating’ ex over ‘Conor Maynard baby’ drama

THE estranged wife of pregnant Traitors favourite Charlotte Chilton has broken her silence after the reality star revealed her baby's father is pop star Conor Maynard.

Charlotte took to social media on Thursday, telling her fans that would 'not be silenced' over her unborn daughter's paternity.

But now Charlotte's wife Laura Chilton, who she split from earlier this year, has spoken out, claiming they were still together when Charlotte slept with Conor and fell pregnant.

Accusing her ex of cheating on her, telecommunications engineer Laura told : "Charlotte has stated in interviews that she was single and had been single since the filming of Traitors which wasn't the case at all.

"We were still in a relationship when she was filming the show."

Charlotte, who is five months pregnant, has revealed she met Conor at The Traitors wrap party.

She claimed that he 'pursued' her and she gave into her charms because she was "vulnerable" after coming out of a "really toxic relationship."

She also said she was pressured to attend the wrap party by winner Harry Clark, who dates Conor's sister Anna.

But Laura has hit back at her ex's claims, claiming she was "seizing the opportunity" by going to the wrap party.

Laura added that she became suspicious when Charlotte stayed an extra night in London after the bash.

"[It was] obviously the night she got with this Conor Maynard which I had caught wind of as she mentioned to me he had a crush on her and she wasn't interested - we were still together," Laura told the publication.

"But she is making out to everyone that we weren't together at the time - I want to make it clear that we were."

Laura went on to accuse Charlotte of "trying to grab a headline" by revealing Conor is the father in a social media video.

She says she wants her ex to "take some accountability and responsibility" for what has happened, before accusing her of enjoying the limelight.

"It is becoming clear that [media attention] is what she wants," Laura added.

The pair were together for seven years and even had an unsuccessful round of IVF in an attempt to get pregnant.

Laura, who has moved back in with her parents following her split from Charlotte, said she found out her ex was pregnant when she saw it on social media earlier this year.

Earlier this week, Charlotte returned to instagram to reveal her baby's father after previously keeping it under wraps.

Charlotte said: "I've really toyed with whether this is the right thing to do or not.

"I've sort of hidden a lot of things in protection of somebody else through this process.

"I decided that the best thing is to always be open and honest. Essentially, I have not named the father in protection of him."

Charlotte went on: "I'm prepared to do this alone, but I'm not prepared to have my daughter have to grow up and not be able to say who her father is, or should I say, birth father, or hide it from her.

"She deserves to know where she comes from. I'm not a secret, she's not a dirty secret. I won't be treated like one anymore, I won't be silenced."

She continued: "Conor is his name. I met him after The Traitors wrap party and we started seeing each other and Penelope arrived in my tummy!"

Conor first tasted pop stardom in 2012 with his debut single, Can't Say No, which reached Number 2 in the charts.

The Brighton lad has duetted with top acts such as Labyrinth and Rita Ora.
