Love Island viewers horrified as Joey Essex makes shocking diet confession
LOVE Island viewers were left shocked by a jaw-dropping confession Joey Essex made about some of his dietary habits.
In a clip that was aired on Unseen Bits tonight, the reality star could be seen telling a fellow Islander that it's very important for him to consume enough protein on a daily basis.
To make sure he does that, Joey eats 12 eggs every day.
In one scene he started grumbling when he went through the cupboards in the villa and couldn't find more than six eggs for a meal.
Fans were absolutely appalled to hear about his enormous egg consumption.
One person took to social media questioning: "JOEY!?!?? Six bloodclart eggs??????"

Another compared him to a Disney villain, joking: "Eating 12 eggs a day sounds like something Gaston does."
A third horrified viewer asked: "Joey Essex eats 12 eggs a day??"
Before his stint on Love Island, Joey was best known for appearing on another ITV reality show - The Only Way is Essex.
He has already caused chaos in the villa, leaving his love interest Samantha in floods of tears after he went to the hideout with a bombshell during her first day on the show.
Joey has also been slammed by viewers for participating in Love Island altogether, as he is 33.
Some people think it's inappropriate that he is dating people up to a decade younger than him - including recent bombshell Uma Jammeh who is 23.
However, his ex Jess Wright has actually spoken out in support of him.
She told MailOnline: ""I haven't watched it, but I've obviously seen it all over [social media]. I think it's great. I think Joey's just so much fun. He might be, you know, 33 but he still is young at heart and he's obviously single.
"Obviously, I knew Joey on Towie and we were all kids and young and everything else and times moved on."
The pair haven't seen each other in "years", admits Jess - but proving there's no bad blood she added: "I think I've been off Towie now for about I wanna say eight years, which is nearly a decade. So yeah, it's crazy, but no, we all had fun on there.
"I really wish him well. He's just a nice guy."
