HOMES Under the Hammer presenter Martin Roberts fought back tears as he opened up in a deeply personal video.
The TV star, 60, spoke candidly about the loss of his father as he endured his second Father's Day since his passing.

Sighing as he spoke, Martin went on to say that he hoped to find comfort in focusing in on "happy memories" as opposed to thinking about the difficult times.
He continued: “I guess we just have to focus on those happy memories we have got and pick a particularly daft, silly or memorable thing and focus on that.
“Know that, I guess, they are up there looking down at us. Happy Father’s Day.”
Martin's social media feed was filled with support from his concerned fans as they rushed to share their advice for dealing with grief as well as to offer him some much-needed kind words.

One of his devoted fans said to him: “I'm sure sir he'd want you to have several pints in the sun and smile and laugh at all your favourite times - a day to celebrate him not mourn him.”
Another went on to say: “Thinking of you Martin. I lost my dad when I was 27, I'm 55 now and I still miss him so much, but remembering happy times.”
Others expressed their sympathy as they told of how they could relate to Martin and his struggles.
Someone told Martin: “I lost my dad nearly 18 years ago. The pain never goes away, you learn to live with it. But it's so hard.”
Before another chimed in to add: “One of the unfortunate things in life is losing loved ones, I have lost both my parents but still have all the good memories, plus we always have each other on here.”
The TV property expert buried his father's ashes last year after a dilemma saw him debating what to do after a handmade box to store them was too small to hold them all.
In order to give his father a fitting send-off, Martin had a friend create a "beautiful box" where he planned to store the ashes and then bury them in the same grave as his late mum.
Martin told his fans he had made the journey to Warrington where many of her father's family and friends still lived.
Showing fans the amount he had left remaining, he said: "The box is already full.
"I mean, if it wasn't so terrible, I'd be crying right now."
Seeking some answers, he asked: "What do I do? I've got to bury dad's ashes with mum because that's what he wanted. But the box... is full?"
