Love Island’s Millie Court wades into Joey Essex fix row saying he ‘knows what he is doing’ after years of reality TV
LOVE Island legend Millie Court insisted Joey Essex "knows what he's dong" after years of reality TV following fix rows.
Many ITV2 viewers have slammed producers for putting a celebrity into the villa and have claimed Joey is a "plant".
The former Towie star, 33, has caused a stir in the villa after being at the centre of a love triangle.
His ex Grace Jackson also entered the villa, which fuelled speculation further that it's a set-up.
Millie, who found love with Liam Reardon on the 2021 series, said Joey's extensive TV past has given him an upper hand.
"His [Joey's] was a really good entrance and I think that it was pretty iconic and he's been really iconic. He's obviously been bringing the drama, which is always good," she told The Mail.

"And well, it's Joey Essex, he's been in lots of reality TV shows before, so I feel like he knows what he's doing.
"He's putting on a good show. It's what we all want to see.
"Drama at the end of the day is what keeps people watching Love Island, isn't it.
"So as long as he keeps bringing that, then he'll stay in."

Millie said she believes that some Islanders aren't really looking for love and have entered the villa with a "game plan".
She added: "To be honest with you, I think people might have gone in there with a bit of a game plan, and I just think there's no point in doing that.
"I think just be really true to yourself and get the connections and try not to force anything."
It comes after dumped Islander Munveer Jabbal shared that fellow co-star Samantha felt 'set up' by producers.
Munveer, whose summer of love was cut short last week, told FUBAR Radio: "[Samantha] literally just called me about an hour ago and she’s obviously livid, for obvious reasons.
"Watching it the other day was a tough watch because, being so close to Samantha in the villa, you could clearly see she has strong feelings for Joey but it wasn’t reciprocated. No physical touch, no intimacy.
"Then Grace walks in and smacks one right on the lips right in front of her. She obviously feels embarrassed."
He also hinted he agrees with fan theories that Grace and Joey faked their break up to stage a reunion on the ITV show.
He added: "I think you hit the nail on the head there, no smoke without fire.
"The way they’ve come in it seems like they’ve known each other for a while. There’s a past there, how strong is that past? Who knows.
"She’s come in, and they’ve coupled up straight away.

"I feel really sorry for Samantha because she is a class girl. She put it herself and said she was a placeholder.
"It was sad to see because she actually had genuine feelings towards Joey."
