Love Island’s new feud revealed as star blasts Joey Essex as ‘annoying’ in battle for Grace’s affections

LOVE Island will have some huge scenes tonight as Joey Essex creates a new feud.

His former flame Grace Jackson recently arrived as a bombshell in the villa, leaving Joey quick to ditch Samantha Kenny and connect back with his ex.

However, in tonight’s episode, things take a turn as he learns that Omar Nyame has been exploring a connection with his ex.

Pulling Omar for a chat, Joey says: “Obviously mate, you’ve got to understand I am hearing things…Grace has told me you’ve said a few things.

“She’s told you to behave….apparently you’ve been flirting with her.”

Omar interrupts: “But at the same time I’m going about my business…then I’m asking what’s been said and I ain’t being told what’s been said.

“So, that’s annoying me even more now…”

Joey says: “I’m not trying to embarrass you.”

Omar snaps: “But in the same breath you’re saying it’s no competition, it’s no competition and I’m thinking, I ain’t even trying to compete with you.

“Why did you say it then?”

As Grace watches from afar, how will she and Joey navigate this bump in the road?

It comes after Joey branded him “a snake” and Omar was forced to sleep in the villa’s Beach Hut.

A source said: “Joey cares about Grace and was livid when he heard Omar was flirting with her behind his back.

“It all came to a head on Thursday night.

“Joey pulled Omar aside to talk it out and explain how he and Grace were getting serious so Omar needed to back off.

“It escalated from there and they were like a pair of rutting deer – physically squaring up to each other, in each others faces and arguing.

“The other lads pulled them apart and Omar then cooled down by sleeping separately overnight.”
