X Factor’s Lucy Spraggan marries girlfriend Emilia Smith in star-studded bash as Simon Cowell walks her down the aisle
X FACTOR star Lucy Spraggan has married her long-term girlfriend Emilia Smith in a glitzy bash.
The singer, 32, was walked down the aisle by music mogul Simon Cowell at the star-studded affair.
Lucy opted to wear a stunning all-white three-piece suit for the big day at Saltmarshe Hall - a stunning country estate located in rural East Yorkshire.
34-year-old Emilia showed off her shoulders as she wowed wedding-goers in a gorgeous strapless white wedding gown and clutched onto a big bouquet of white flowers.
Two others took centre stage during the big day, namely Simon Cowell, who gave Lucy away, as well as Lucy's 11-year-old Boston Terrier Steve, who was dressed in a black bow tie outfit.
In a poignant move, Lucy walked down the aisle to her own song, a gushing love composition dedicated to her now-wife, titled Other Sides of the Moon.

Lucy opened up to about the big day and she told the publication: "Simon and I were standing outside the door and my song started playing. I was already crying, and Simon definitely had a tear in his eye.
"I was linking arms with him but then I realised I was holding on to his arm. He kept saying, 'You're OK, you're all right.' Then when Emilia walked in with her dad I just sobbed."
Reflecting on the moment she first saw Lucy, wedding photographer Emilia said: "When I saw Lucy, it was everything I ever imagined and more.
"When I got to the top of the aisle Simon was looking at us both and he looked so proud, and so did my dad.
"Dad has been having chemotherapy for cancer but somehow, he made it through the day to be the last man standing."
The X Factor head honcho Simon wasn't the only famous face to appear during the big day.
His wife Lauren Silverman and actor Tom Turgoose were also among revellers there to support Lucy and Emilia.
RuPaul's Drag Race UK winner Bimini Bon Boulash and Love Island hunk Adam Collard were also among the guests with Lucy having believed to have made close pals with them after filming an upcoming series of Celebrity SAS; Who Dares Wins together.
Lucy and Simon grew close after he reached out to her when she went public about the sexual assault she suffered during her time on his singing competition in 2012.
She was attacked by a hotel porter and subsequently withdrew from the contest.
The perpetrator was eventually brought to justice and imprisoned for the crime.
Speaking of the honour at being asked to accompany Lucy on her wedding day and the "nerves" he felt going into it, Simon said: "I was very honoured to be asked to walk Lucy down the aisle.
"I considered it a very big deal. As soon as she asked me, I said yes. On the day I was actually quite nervous because l've never been asked before. And then very proud and happy and emotional.
"The best way of describing our relationship is that it feels like we've been friends for life.
