Quirky singer Cyndi, who shot to fame in the 80s, discussed her music career including her recent addition to the Hollywood's TCL Chinese Theatre 'Walk of Fame'.

Host Tim explained: "We're all so excited about it because you're such a huge celebrity. You recently did your handprints, didn't you, at the Chinese theatre."

Showing off a snap of Cyndi with longtime pal Cher, Cyndi responded: "I know, she's so sweet. She told me how to sign it."

Cyndi then let the programme into a secret, as she revealed that Cher had taught her how to sign her autograph.

She told the show: "At another one of my jobs, I used to engrave cheap jewellery. We always had a tiny little thing and you had to write 'Happy Christmas grandma love Tommy'.

"So I was writing small and she [Cher] said 'no, you've got to write your name big.' Thank goodness she was there. I love Cher."

Yet after one segment with the group of guests, Cyndi was seemingly missing from the next part of the show - which didn't go unmissed by viewers.

Writing on Twitter/X, one wrote: "Cyndi Lauper has had enough and disappeared, I don’t blame her tbh #SundayBrunch."

Another shared: "She gone already? I can’t believe she agreed to appear on this s**t fest."

The star then reappeared later, but with no explanation given by the programme as one viewer joked online: "#SundayBrunch Cindy’s back after her toilet break."

It wasn't just Cyndi's 'vanishing act' that had viewers discussing the star, as she also displayed some odd behaviour.

At one point as the guests tried and sampled some sweet treats including ice lollies, Cyndi had an unusual method for eating hers.

Instead of holding it by the wooden stick she placed hers down and used cutlery to try it, leaving viewers baffled.

One person wrote on Twitter/X: "Why is Cyndi Lauper eating an ice cream lolly with a knife and fork! #sundaybrunch."

Another also spotted the odd move as they wrote: "Cindy lauper eating a ice cream with a fork and knife [eyeroll emoji]."

"Seen it all. Cyndi Lauper eating an ice cream with a knife & fork #Sundaybrunch," said a third.
