SURANNE Jones concluding her investigation into witch trials by heading to America and country star Shania Twain playing at Glastonbury are among today's best TV.

And there's lots of summer sports to enjoy too, as UEFA Euro 2024 continues and the Austrian Grand Prix takes place - while BBC1 offers a round-up of action from Wimbledon 2023.

Here are TV Mag's six telly picks for Sunday 30 June 2024...

Suranne Jones continues her investigation by exploring one of the most infamous witch trials of all, as she travels to the American town of Salem, Massachusetts, to fully understand what happened back in 1692.

The small Puritan community was rocked when two girls claimed to have been pinched and bitten by an invisible being, before barking like dogs and convulsing as if they were having a seizure. They then accused three local women of being witches.

As paranoia spread, more than 100 people were accused of witchcraft and 19 were executed, but as Suranne digs deeper, she’s shocked to discover parallels between events back then and what women experience today, from extreme misogyny on the internet to the restriction on abortions in many US states.

Kylie Minogue and Diana Ross have belted out bangers in Glastonbury’s Legends slot in recent years.

Now get ready for some country vibes as Shania Twain takes to the stage. We’ll have to wait and see if Man! I Feel Like A Woman! and You’re Still The One make her set list.

But either way she's sure to impress us, much!

“I’ve been in love with this country for decades, but I’ve never really had a chance to understand true Galician cuisine,” reveals Gordon Ramsay as he arrives in the Spanish region.

Tonight, chef Pepe Vieira challenges him to do exactly that, before showcasing everything he’s learnt about Galicia in a final cook-off.

As always, Gordon gives it everything he’s got as he searches for percebes (they're a form of barnacle) on Costa da Morte, aka the Coast of Death, gets his hands dirty while farming mussels and even enlists his daughter Tilly for back-up. But has he done enough to win that final cook-off?

This year is all about new morning-show pairings, and with Ben and Cat and Dermot and Alison covering ITV’s weekdays, farmer Jimmy Doherty and chef Shivi Ramoutar put their stamp on Sunday mornings with their new show Farmhouse Breakfast.

It’s certainly a different premise, as a barn on Jimmy’s Suffolk farm and wildlife park doubles as a makeshift studio where they’ll whip up delicious dishes and welcome celebrity guests (see video above)…

Ahead of this year’s Wimbledon, refresh your memory regarding last year’s big stories.

That’s when Carlos Alcaraz dethroned seven-time champ Novak Djokovic in an epic five-set final.

There was drama in the Women’s Singles too, as Czech player Marketa Vondrousova smashed her way into the record books as the Open Era’s first unseeded Women’s winner, beating Ons Jabeur.

And Brits lifted silverware, with our winners including Neal Skupski triumphing in Men’s Doubles with Wesley Koolhof.

The seemingly unstoppable Max Verstappen claimed victory in the race last year and he’ll be the hot favourite to triumph again today, unless Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc or McLaren's Lando Norris can pull off what would be a famous victory.
