First ever Love Island shop opens tomorrow in top UK shopping centre
Former contestant Amy Hart will declare the shop open on Tuesday afternoon
LOVE Island fans can celebrate as the first shop dedicated to the show opens tomorrow.
Avid viewers of the ITV reality series will be able to pick up personalised goods at a four-week pop-up in Kent’s Bluewater shopping centre.
Former contestant Amy Hart will declare the shop open this afternoon.
Official merchandise for the programme — fronted by Maya Jama — has been sold since 2017, but this is the first chance for fans to pick it up in person.
Love Island’s creative director Mike Spencer said: “We are thrilled to be opening a space in Bluewater for our loyal fans to get their hands on some exclusive Love Island merch and live their best Islander life this summer.
“From water bottles to collections inspired by the show, we have you covered on what will be must-have accessories.”
James Waugh, Centre Director at Bluewater, said: “We are pleased to announce the upcoming launch of the first ever official Love Island pop-up store here at Bluewater this summer.
“With the ever-changing landscape of physical retail, it is important for us as industry leaders to bring brands synonymous with pop culture, such as Love Island, to the centre and ensure that our guest experience is constantly evolving.
“The Love Island shop really is something quite special, with great photo opportunities and exclusive-to-store merchandise lines – we’re in no doubt that the in-store experience will be a massive draw, not just to Love Island fans living locally, but further afield too.”
