GLYNIS Barber’s character Norma Crow is set to be killed off Hollyoaks.
The gangster, who confirmed her exit earlier this year, will be murdered as part of a revenge attack in shock scenes.
Over the summer, fans will watch her meet her demise at the hands of a surprise character.
An insider said: “Glynis has been a big part of the show, so it’s only right she gets a gory ending.
“It does mean she won’t be coming back though, which will be a huge blow for her fans.”
Last month, Glynis, 68, revealed she had filmed her final scenes for the soap.

Glynis and Rita, 47, previously starred together on EastEnders as mother and daughter Glenda and Roxy Mitchell.
Jamie, 49, was quick to comment, writing: "Omg I literally can’t cope.
"I am going to miss seeing you everyday and I love you so much. Thank you for being the best onscreen partner and always making my days enjoyable.
"You are so talented and I can’t wait to see what is next for you."
And Rita added: "Love you Mummy."
Her exit comes exits after The Sun lifted the lid on how twenty cast members were being axed from the soap amid job cuts following Channel 4’s decision to slash episodes to just three 20-minute editions per week.
