SUNDAY Brunch viewers have been left unimpressed by host Tim Lovejoy and his latest antics on the popular programme.
The Channel 4 presenter was a little more than excited for the impending England v Spain match at the Euro 2024 tournament.
Tim opted to don his England shirt for the whole show and within seconds of kicking off the Sunday morning staple with co-host Simon Rimmer was left rabbiting on about his obsession with the sport.
It also left him feeling unprepared as he seemingly confessed that his mind was elsewhere whilst trying to host the show.
Welcoming viewers in, Tim remarked: “Good morning, today is one of those shows where I don’t feel ready. Do you Simon?”
Simon quickly added: “I’m feeling unready.”

Tim then preceded to talk at length about the match before introducing the day's guests.
He said: “Welcome to Sunday Brunch, we are live, it’s England playing today, that’s why I’m wearing a football shirt.
“Unless you’ve been living under a rock or you just really don’t like football, or you really don’t like England - morning Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland - you’ll be aware that the Euro 2024 final is tonight and the mighty England will face Spain.
“Naturally, we are taking this very seriously and have a special show for you today.”

Later, he admitted that a flurry of different England football songs would be played throughout the episode to mark the occasion with fans hearing them around the advert breaks.
Tim and Simon had already revealed that hit World in Motion was their go-to favourite choice of song.
Whilst some Channel 4 fans were excited to cheer England on, many were left shocked at what they described as "Tim's borderline obsession" with the game that dominated the programme.
They were left expressing empathy for the guests who were continually drawn into football chat by the host.
Commenting online, one unimpressed viewer remarked: “Tim more insufferable than usual talking about b***** football."
Another added: “When you’re a guest on Sunday Brunch on Euro 2024 final day and Lovejoy won’t talk about owt else.”
Before a third lashed out and said: “I mean I love football but [Tim's] literal obsession with it is borderline creepy.
“You are there to do a magazine show. Not football focus or MOTD.”

As another abruptly added: “Shut the f*** up Tim, some people don’t give a s*** about football.”
Fans will be hoping that England manage to pick up the trophy as they take on the mighty Spain in the tournament.
