A TOP comedian has landed a brand new ITV game show just days after the BBC axed his show.
Romesh Ranganathan has been thrown a lifeline by ITV bosses as they've officially green-lit his new game show.
The 46-year-old will front the broadcaster's new prime time series called Romesh Ranganathan's Parents’ Evening.
Set to air next year on ITV1, the three-part series will see celebrities and their children team up to see how much they really know each other.
Each round will see the famous faces determine what their adult kids know about them - and their offspring will need to answer the questions correctly to win money for charity.
Romesh's new series comes just days after it was confirmed that the BBC had scrapped his comedy Avoidance.

A synopsis for the show reads: "If they meet their parent's expectations they will get the money, but fall short and the cash is split between the other teams.
"Whoever pockets the most cash will earn the right to play with their parent in the final round, for a chance to double their money for charity.
"In a game where the parents decide everything, will their offspring meet their expectations?
"Who knows, but what we can promise is a night of entertainment where, just like the Parents' Evening you remember, our celebrities will suffer embarrassment, vicious grading, and a stern word in the car park after.
