Thommy was found face down without apparent injuries after falling four metres, it's claimed.
The star was last known for his role in the 2021 second season of the Brazilian telenovela, Pantanal.
His character in the show, João Zoinho, had a gay kiss scene with actor Silvero Pereira - a very rare moment on Brazilian TV.
His dad, Horacio Ramos, said his son had only just finished filming a new TV series when the tragic news broke.
He told "It's a painful moment, it hurts so much that there's no way to explain it.
"We spoke every day, every day it was 'good morning, good afternoon', he would call me for anything, I would call him for anything.
"He was such a dear person. Thommy was a fantastic person, loved by everyone."
Thommy had a one-year-old daughter with his wife Angra Monaliza - a make-up artist who he met on set.
Tributes have been pouring in for the beloved star on social media.
