Love Island’s iconic challenge returns TONIGHT as Joey Essex and rival Ciaran go head to head
It comes hot on the heels of another villa favourite
A LEGENDARY Love Island challenge returns tonight – as Joey Essex and Ciaran Davies go head-to-head.
The Islanders will reveal their hidden skills to the rest of the group in the villa talent competition.
And they have a few tricks up their sleeve with their quirky talents.
From a circus act to a flute performance and an art masterclass, the Islanders will pull out all the stops to impress.
But it’s Sean’s comedy skit that will leave his fellow Islanders speechless, while Joey also stuns the villa with his awkward rap.
Welsh beauty Nicole is first up to perform an impressive street dance routine dressed in baggy cargos and a vest.
Rueben takes to the mic to perform a rendition of Singin’ in the Rain, dressed in a yellow rain Mac and holding an umbrella.
Matilda does a puppet performance using her toes to illustrate her connection with sweet salesman Sean from behind a red curtain while Grace dons her gym gear to run a yoga class which quickly turns into an Eric Prydz Call on Me-style music video.
Josh is next to give a pancake and waffle making masterclass to satisfy his pals’ sweet tooth while Joey performs a rap about all the Islanders.
At the end he says “when I say secret you say mission” – to which no one replies.
Welsh boy Ciaran is keen to show off his sporting skills and puts on a special rugby class.
But he’s not the only one who is hoping to dazzle tonight.
Jess S gives an artist masterclass as she paints Ayo’s face and reveals she got an A Star in Art A Level.
Sean is next as he presents every islander with their own sweets and does a sweet roast.
And Jessy surprises her fellow co-stars when she wears stilts and does a burlesque dance as Joey attempts to stand on his toes to kiss her.
Jessy reveals she was trained by German circus professionals.
Ayo performs nursery rhyme Mary Had A Little Lamb on the flute.
This is followed by Mimii’s beautiful rendition of A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton.
The classic challenge comes hot on the heels of another villa favourite – Meet The Parents.
Jessy was joined in the villa by her mum Julie and dad Matthew.
But straight away, fans clocked that Julie isn’t the biggest fan of Joey.
Sitting on a day bed with her parents, Jessy excitedly asked: “What do you think?!”
Gritting her teeth, Julie replied: “Yeah, lovely. Really sweet.”
Joey, meanwhile, was greeted by his nan and his sister – former Towie co-star Frankie Essex.
Joey told them Jessy is “the one” while Jessy’s mum told her Joey “needs to stop fancying himself”.
The families then came face-to-face for a group chat – and Julie gained even more respect from fans.
Joey’s sister wiped away tears as she told Jessy how much her brother likes her, but Julie only had a stark warning for the Essex lad.
She told him: “One little thing for me… If you’ve had some kind of relationship with somebody in the past, just show them a bit of respect afterwards. I think Grace needs a little bit of that.
“That’s just my feelings that you need to give her a little bit of kindness.”
Elsewhere, Ayo’s brother told him he thought he suited Mimii more than Jess, which left him shocked while fans were quick to spot a clue about Ciaran’s mum not being Nicole’s biggest fan.
