SHE was a fresh-faced 22-year-old when she first appeared as the attractive ‘new girl’ in The Inbetweeners.
And incredibly, actress Jayne Wisener has barely aged a day from her iconic ‘feisty one you are’ episode in the classic teen sitcom – even though it aired 15 years ago.
The Inbetweeners, which originally ran on E4 from 2008 to 2010, followed the trials and tribulations of teenagers Will McKenzie (Simon Bird) and his friends Simon Cooper (Joe Thomas), Neil Sutherland (Blake Harrison) and Jay Cartwright (James Buckley).
In the often-quoted episode, Will finds himself falling for Jayne’s character Lauren Harris – even though she has the hots for his best mate Simon.
While sitting at lunch, Lauren starts taking a bigger interest in Simon, causing Will to make a desperate attempt to turn her head – by doing an awkwardly bad impression of Star Wars’ Yoda.
‘Feisty one, you are,’ he tells her repeatedly.

Lauren is not only unimpressed but left very confused and even asks him if he has ‘a problem’.
The uncomfortable silence between the characters only makes matters worse in an episode that fans still love watching years later.
Jayne, 37, also had a star turn as Johnny Depp’s daughter in 2007 film Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, as well as appearances on the West End stage and is now a married mum-of two.
But it was her role as Lauren in the beloved sitcom that fans remember her best for.

Speaking to London Beautiful Life, Jayne – who lives in County Antrim in Northern Ireland, said she was surprised that episode had become a ‘cult classic’.
She said: "I am in the second season and I was such a fan of the first season.
"When I landed the role in The Inbetweeners I was so, so delighted with myself.
"I didn’t quite expect it to be the cult classic it has now become and years later there are generations later coming up to me saying ‘feisty one you are and I am like ‘ok’…It is mad, mad."
Fans were amazed by Jayne, who has seemingly defied time.
"Hang on how old is she?", one asked.
"Like a fine wine", another said.
While one nostalgic fan wrote: "I hate these little reminders of how quick time goes by. It feels like five minutes since I watched this episode for the first time but it aired 15 years ago and we’re all old."
