Love Island winner Josh reignites feud with Joey Essex as he brands him ‘most challenging’ part of the show
The pair struggled to see eye to eye in the villa
LOVE Island winner Josh Oyinsan has slammed Joey Essex for making his time in the villa ‘challenging’.
The pair struggled to see eye to eye on the show, with fans accusing of Joey of interfering in his relationship with Mimii Ngulube.
Following Josh and Mimii’s historic win last night, they was quizzed about what was the toughest part for them.
Mimmi said: “Probably having so many opinionated people in the Villa towards the end.
“We knew what we had and we knew we were good, but to have other comments trying to throw us off track was difficult. We just trusted in us and kept communicating and reassuring each other though.”
Josh was more pointed in his reply and said: “Definitely the comments as Mimii said, and going back and forth with Joey.”
Mimii did however mention Joey when she was asked about her biggest regret on the show.
She said: “Maybe asking Joey to do the secret mission, but other than that no.”
During their time in the show, fans struggled to watch as Joey and Sean Stone continually insisted that Mimii and Ayo still had feelings for each other.
Things came to a head over the so called Secret Mission and the boys ended up rowing as Josh tried to find out what his partner had been up to.
Mimii admitted that she had asked Joey to help her speak privately with Ayo, but claimed it was only so they could close the chapter and move on.
However, Joey seemed to remember a slightly different version of events.
He hinted at there being more to the story when speaking with Josh, saying: “I had loyalty to Mimii and still do. Hence the reason I’m not telling you exactly word for word and in detail what actually happened.”
Both men began to raise their voices as they flung accusations at each other.
Joey later chose to roast Josh over the whole incident during his rap in the talent show.
