ACTOR Rishi Nair has been spotted locking lips with one of his co-stars as filming for the brand new series of Grantchester got underway.
The TV hunk joined the cast of the ITV period drama for its ninth series as the third leading character on the series.
Rishi joined the programme to play Vicar Alphy Kotteram following the exits of previous stars Tom Brittney and James Norton.
With a tenth series already in the works, Rishi has already been snapped on-set getting rather handsy with one of his brand new co-stars, Christie Russell-Brown.
In new pictures, Vicar Alphy can be seen cruising around in his classic red drop-top convertible with his new love interest right by his side.
Christie is new to the show and will be playing the character of Meg Gray and she certainly appeared to catch the eye of the dishy Vicar.

The pair were spotted enjoying a series of passionate snogs in his car as the Vicar could barely keep his hands off Meg.
It appeared to be the start of a brand new love story for Alphy who hasn't been short of catching the eyes of the ladies on the programme.
In between their hot and heavy scenes, Rishi and Christie could be seen enjoying a joke with one another as they laughed and shared tales while working on the show.
In the snaps, Alphy went without his clerical uniform for his racy smooches with Meg but was later spotted sporting his dog collar as he filmed more scenes.

Alphy has been known for having an eye on both the ladies and his job all at the same time in an atypical move for a Vicar.
In an interview with , actor Rishi previously confessed that his cheeky side would be delved into more on the programme.
Rishi said: " He’s quite cheeky. He’s a 'glass half-full kind of guy,' as he describes himself. And I think he’s quite modern.
"He believes in marriage, but he’s not ready to get married.
"Before he gets married, he wants to have some fun and just be chill.
"He likes meeting women, so I think that’s probably something we’ll see as this series develops and in future seasons. He’s someone that uses his humour to get out of tricky situations as well."
