Coronation Street fans shocked after discovering star has a twin – who also appeared on the soap
The twins shared the role in 2011
CORONATION Street fans were shocked to discover that actor Liam McCheyne has an identical twin in real life.
The soap star - who plays Sean Tully's son Dylan Wilson - first arrived on the cobbles in 2011 and originally shared the role with his brother, Connor.

Dylan returned to the ITV soap in 2022, but Connor decided to swap his acting career to become a cricketer.
Many fans could not believe their eyes after a Coronation Street fan page on Facebook shared a photo of the twins together.
One stunned person wrote “I had no idea Liam was a twin.”
Someone else replied: “Wait what?!”

A commented: “I didn't know either just read up on it.”
Another added: “Never knew they were twins!”
Liam, 17, often shares snaps from his family life away from the soap.
He shared a sweet throwback photo to celebrate Father's Day in June.

The TV star wrote: "Wishing a Happy Father's Day to all Dads.
"Whether they are with us or not or if we don't see them as much as we'd like. Today is a day of appreciation.

"Therefore, I thank my off-screen dad and my on-screen dad." tagging Sean Tully actor Anthony Cotton in the post.
He also posted a picture of him alongside his twin playing cricket.
Liam previously said: "Connor found that love, and it is a love, so I'm really glad he found something he wants to do.
"We're as close as anything. We've got our differences, but there's definitely similarities."
Dylan was recently at the centre of a bullying storyline with bad boy Mason Radcliffe.
Fresh from prison, Mason - played by Luca Toolan - is grappling with homelessness.
After sleeping rough in the ginnel and reduced to stealing food with his newfound love Betsy (Sydney Swain), Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) offers him a bed at No.6 but proud Mason tells him to “Stuff his charity.”
But undeterred, Stu tried another approach offering him a job as a pot washer at Speed Daal.
Mason accepts and takes pride in telling Betsy he’s prepared for trouble.

She then warned Dylan that he’d better not mess with Mason as working in a restaurant he has access to some very sharp knives.
With Dylan’s fear of Mason evident, his dad Sean resolves to sort it out and barges into Speed Dahl to confront Yasmeen and Stu.
