Controversial Channel 4 dating show for VIRGINS finally given the green light after bosses overcome major obstacle
A NEW TV dating show for virgins will go ahead — after producers finally found some.
Channel 4 has spent more than a year looking for the sexually uninitiated willing to romp on camera.
The show, set in a Love Island-style villa in the Mediterranean, now has enough to proceed after the application criteria was expanded.
A source said: “Nobody saw this coming. Who’d have thought it would be so hard to find up-for-it youngsters?
“Rylan Clark has managed to get ten contestants to live entirely in the nude for his new show Dating Naked, there’s full-blown orgies on Open House, and Naked Attraction has had Brits getting their bits out on air for years.
But producers just couldn’t reel enough virgins in. It’s been a long slog, with casting limping on since July 2023, so everyone is relieved the show has finally got the green light.”

The show, called The Intimacy Retreat, enticed enough love novices by broadening its application — with participants only having to identify as a virgin.
Potential participants were quizzed over their sexual exploits “if any”.
They were also asked: “Do you consider yourself a virgin?”
Guided by sexologists, they will learn intimacy skills, face their fears and, hopefully, find enough confidence to lose their virginity on camera.
Producers said the show, which should air next year, “will be a six-part series that follows adults who are virgins (or identify as virgins)”.
