KIM Kardashian has critics questioning her appearance in the new high fashion documentary, In Vogue: The 90s after its trailer dropped.

Earlier this week, a preview for the Hulu docu-series circulated featuring Kim, 43, and many of the industry's most elite, telling the story of how the decade ultimately evolved fashion.

Among the style icons featured are Vogue editors Anna Wintour, Edward Enninful, Tonne Goodman, and Hamish Bowles.

Other A-list stars include Kate Moss, Victoria Beckham, Mary J. Blige, Sarah Jessica Parker, Naomi Campbell, and Elizabeth Hurley.

It was seemingly a no-brainer to feature these stars in the series, as they've significantly impacted the fashion world, especially during this time period.

However, many fans were confused about Kim's involvement in the project and voiced their thoughts on social media.

"Kim is definitely a reality pop culture icon—HOWEVER a lot of her style and aesthetic was molded after ….well we all know Kim never had her own aesthetic," one person argued in a Kardashian-dedicated thread online about the documentary.

Others pointed out Kim's young age during that era and claimed that she only became known in the fashion scene much later.

In Vogue: The 90s premieres on September 13 on Hulu and on Disney+ in the UK and the rest of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Kim and her family rose to fame after starring in their former E! reality TV series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, from 2007 to 2021.

Kim grew more notoriety in the industry and ended up being on the cover of American Vogue three times.

Her first was in April 2014 with her then-fiance, Kanye West.

Kim Kardashian called out for 'ruining' Janet Jackson's 'iconic' outfit as fans rage 'leave the clothes alone!'

In May 2019, she locked in her first solo cover for the May 2019 issue and again posed for the magazine's March 2022 issue.

During an episode of The Kardashians, fans watched Kim get the news about scoring her latest Vogue cover - a spot that initially went to her younger sister Kendall.

"I am so excited that I am going to be on the cover of Vogue," Kim gushed in a confessional interview.

The TV personality then said she didn't "care how many times" she's been on the cover and the honor would "never get old."

A Quick Look at Kim's Business Empire

SKIMS is just one part of Kim Kardashian's multi-million dollar business empire. The reality TV star makes money from a multitude of jobs.

Kim has also acted on American Horror Story, received endorsements from numerous companies, and more making her net worth a little above $1 billion

Kim has been ridiculed in the past for her fashion sense, which she's admitted her ex-husband Kanye took control of when they were together.

The Skims founder is also rumored to not be on the best of terms with Vogue powerhouse Anna after the latter supposedly exiled Kim from a fashion show.

Chatter also swirled that Anna - who manages the guest list for the annual Met Gala - banished Kim and her family from attending fashion's biggest night.

The rumors came after Kim transformed into Marilyn Monroe for the 2023 Met Gala and donned the "Happy Birthday, Mr. President" dress the icon wore in 1962.

Critics accused Kim of damaging the sparkly gold gown after molding her figure to fit into the skintight number.

During an interview with Vogue at the event, Kim emphasized that she was "extremely respectful to the dress" and wouldn't risk damaging it.

She appeared to be in good graces with Anna again as she showed up to the 2024 Met Gala in May, though fans weren't keen on her ensemble, which included a gray cardigan over a body-hugging Maison Margiela gown.
