Simon, 64, posed with his mini-me son alongside his fiance Lauren Silverman, 47.

The TV judge wore a grey t-shirt and a pair of blue denim jeans, while Lauren looked stylish in a leopard print jacket, black jeans and a satin matching top.

They posed for a string of family photos at the venue in California.

Simon and Eric gave the cameras a thumbs up before they headed inside.

Speaking to the , Cowell said: "I have thought about that. I actually would you know.

"To be honest with you Eric did judge one act this year, I don't know if they're going to show it or not and he was actually really, really good... he was like, 'Hmm, I'm not so sure I like the first song, but I like the second song... and I went 'God, that's my boy!

Britain's Got Talent line-up CONFIRMED after tug of war over Bruno Tonioli

"When we get the shows to watch before they go out and if he's around I'm looking and if he walks straight past the TV, I'm thinking maybe it isn't very good and occasionally he will just creep back in and he will put his head round and I'll think, actually maybe this is better than I thought."

Simon added: "With kids, you can't cheat it, they like what they like and don't like what they don't like... I'm not saying I make every decision based on him but when he likes something, like all kids, they think differently to us... they have no filter."

The Sun previously revealed how Simon and his panel of judges have been behaving so badly they have been likened to The Muppets.

Last month The Sun revealed that Bruno's place on the panel was saved.

But Simon will fork out thousands to have the popular 68-year-old Italian flown back and forth.

A source said: “When Bruno joined BGT last year, he breathed new life into the show. Simon loved how unpredictable he was and thought he made great TV. From the ratings, it’s clear the viewers agreed too.

“When plans were drawn up to revamp BGT for 2025, it was quickly flagged to Simon and the producers that Bruno is already committed to Dancing With The Stars.

“Simon managed to find a way to make it work. It means while a stand-in judge may be needed once or twice, Bruno remains on the show.

“Flying back and forth isn’t ideal for him but he loves both shows and is committed to them.”

Former Strictly judge Bruno will start filming in the US on September 17 and on BGT the following month.
