The Teacher viewers gobsmacked as Kara Tointon’s character romps with Will Mellor

FANS of The Teacher have been left gobsmacked after watching an explicit sex scene between Kara Tointon and Will Mellor.

Secondary school teachers Dani Oxley and Jimmy Spencer – played by soap stars and Will – were seeing getting hot and heavy after sneaking off into the woods during a school trip.

Kara’s character Dani, who is married, left a group of teenagers to their own devices so she could romp in a boathouse with her male colleague.

During the X-rated scenes, viewers were even treated to a glimpse of Coronation Street star Will Mellor‘s bare bottom.

Once back in their clothes, the kinky pair of secondary school teachers emerged to find a pupil called Zach floating dead in the nearby lake.

Initial speculation pointed to him drowning after stealing a kayak while Dani and Jimmy were having sex.

Viewers of the Channel 5 drama have been left stunned by the X-rated scenes, which played out in The Teacher on Monday night.

Writing on X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan said: “I have just completed a course on educational visits and I am sure what is happening in ‘The Teacher’ was not risk assessed in the course!”

Another added: “Away on school trip, surely teachers need to be extra careful! Not like what two of them did. So ludicrous!”

A third said: “Wasn’t expecting @Mellor76 bottom to make an appearance!”

While someone else chimed in: “Will Mellor’s bum tho!”

Monday night’s episode was the first instalment of the second series of The Teacher.

The first series aired in 2022 and saw actress Sheridan Smith take on the lead role of teacher Jenna, who was accused of having a sexual encounter with one of her students.

In an entirely new story, Kara – who is best known for playing Dawn Swann in EastEnders – takes on the lead role of teacher Dani.

Following their school trip romp, Dani and Jimmy were horrified to find teenage pupil Zach lying dead in the lake.

Dani is married to fellow teacher Tim, played by ex Hollyoaks star Emmett J Scanlan. Tim wasn’t on the school trip when the tragedy unfolded.

Initially, Dani told police she had been in the toilet when Zach went missing to avoid her affair being exposed.

However, at the end of the first episode, students began receiving photos of her and Jimmy having sex in the boat house.

“You and Mr Spencer were f***ing while Zach was drowning,” one teen girl shouted at Kara’s character in the school corridor.

Speaking ahead of the series two launch, Kara admitted she was “shocked” when she got her hands on the script.

The actress told : “I was sent the scripts, and initially when I read it I was quite shocked by episode one!

“I suppose for me it was exciting because I’ve never really played a character who the viewers may initially take a bit of a disliking to, not because of anything in her personality as such but because of the choices she makes quite early on.

“It was quite shocking for me, but I just kept reading and I thought ‘this is definitely something I can get my teeth into’ — and working with Will and Emmett was really exciting, as well as Dominic [Leclerc] as a director, so there was a lot going for it!”
