CALLUM Kerr has announced his engagement to his long-term partner Lauren Stacy.
The former Hollyoaks star, 30, played PC George Kiss in the Channel 4 soap between 2020 and 2021.
Taking to Instagram, the Scottish actor revealed he’d got down on one knee to Lauren during a romantic getaway to South Africa.
Sharing a series of snaps, Callum shared the sweet moment he and Lauren went horseback riding.
This was followed by shots of the bride-to-be proudly displaying her huge engagement ring.
He captioned the post: “Took this girl on a horse ride thru the Western Cape and asked if she’d spend the rest of her life with me.”
The post was quickly flooded with sweet messages of congratulations, as one person wrote: “Yessss. So happy for you two.”
Former co-star Billy Price, who played Sid Sumner said: “Congrats bro”, followed by a heart emoji.
In December last year, Callum announced he had become a dad for the first time as he shared the first photo of his newborn.
He posted to Instagram that his partner Lauren had given birth to a baby girl named Isla.
Captioning the snap, the actor wrote: “Meet my daughter, my world : Isla. The other love of my life @laurenstacy7 was amazing thru the whole thing… isn’t she GLOWING!?!? Feeling like the luckiest guy in the world – words don’t cover it.”
Callum, who built a career for himself in America after leaving the soap, is now a regular on the Nashville music scene.
He played PC George Kiss on the C4 soap from January 2020 to May 2021.
His character met a grisly end when he was murdered after a year-long coercive control storyline.
