THE return date of the next Walking Dead series has been revealed.
Daryl Dixon was the fifth spin-off in the apocalyptic horror drama franchise.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon was first launched in September 2023 with six episodes.
Now, the next instalment is set to launch on Sky Max and the NOW streaming service next month.
The second series titled, The Book of Carol, will make its debut on the airwaves from Friday October 4.
Episodes of the new set will air every week in line when each part gets released in the US.

The follow-up will pick up where the first series left off as it will follow Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride).
They will both attempt to tackle their old demons as Daryl grapples with his choice to stay in France.
Tension at the Nest is at an all time high as Carol struggles to look for her friend.
However France's future comes into question as Genet's (Anne Charrier) movement of survivors gains momentum.

the Pouvoir des Vivants (Power Of The Living) will then be set on a violent collision course with the Union of Hope in a return to the original concept of the series.
Fans of the universe are able to catch all episodes of the original series as well as the spin-offs, The Ones Who Live and Dead City on Sky Max and streaming service NOW.
This is in addition to the first series of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
Katie Keenan is the Group Director of Acquisitions at Sky and she gushed about the upcoming series.
She exclaimed: "It’s brilliant to continue the expansion of The Walking Dead universe available exclusively on Sky and NOW, with the brand-new series of Daryl Dixon: The Book of Carol."

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon - The Book Of Carol will air on Sky Max and NOW on Friday October 4.
