Married At First Sight UK’s ‘intruder’ grooms revealed as a bin man and bodybuilder who works in a prison
Two new 'intruder' brides were also revealed this week
Married At First Sight’s ‘intruder’ grooms have been revealed as a bin man and a bodybuilder who works in a prison.
The show format often sees intruder couples brought in around this mark, to amp up the drama.
Last year, it saw viewers introduced to the likes of Erica and Jordan, and JJ and Bianca.
And now, viewers can get ready to welcome two new grooms, a day after two new brides were revealed by The Sun.
“Ryan and Luke are new additions to Married At First Sight UK and they commit to their brides this week,” a source told MailOnline.
Adding: “It’s great to have new joiners enter the experiment and given their different stories and backgrounds, Ryan and Luke definitely make their mark on the series.
“They’re both looking for their soul mate and to settle down with ‘The One’ so have put their faith in the relationship experts to hopefully find long-lasting happiness.”
Mancunian Ryan, 28, semi-professional footballer-turned-bin man
Ryan is a semi-professional footballer-turned-bin man who plans on living life to the full after being diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2017.
The handsome groom raises awareness of the disease through campaign work and he describes himself as “caring, polite and respectful.”
He says his former girlfriends have accused him of being “stubborn,” and his ‘ick’ is when someone believes they’re better than others.
Ryan says his celeb crush is former Love Islander Cally Jane Beech.
He also has a six-year-old son named Leo, and wants to find someone who can be a “role model” to him.
Luke, 30, prison education manager, Kent
Luke is from Malta and now lives in Kent.
He works as a prison education manager and describes himself as a traditional gentleman.
The new groom, whose celeb crush is Hollywood actress Margot Robbie, says he’d like to make his new wife homemade meals and compliment her appearance.
He trained in Youth Rehabilitation and works in a prison, but in his spare time the hunky groom competes in body building competitions.
Luke has transformed his body as a result, and has ranked first place in tournaments all over the world.
He says he hopes that appearing on Mafs will teach him how to be ‘vulnerable’ with his new wife, but says bad table manners is his “biggest turnoff.”
Viewers can also get ready to welcome health and fitness business owner Hannah, 33, from Cheshire, and Blackburn-based wedding planner Amy, 27, over the coming episodes.
A source told The Sun: “Hannah is wild – she comes in like a wrecking ball and will shake up the show. And Amy’s a real character – she’s not shy about looking for love so has high hopes the experts will work their magic and find her a match for life.”
