Remember Coronation Street’s Jamie Baldwin? Actor Rupert Hill looks unrecognisable 15 years later
Actor Rupert Hill departed the cobbles in 2007 and went on to marry his soap co-star Jenny Platt, who played Violet Wilson
HE was the Corrie cheeky chappy who stole the hearts of Leanne Battersby, Violet Wilson - and his STEP-MUM.
Like his grandfather Mike, Jamie Baldwin was certainly a hit with the ladies, which more often than not landed him in a spot of bother.
His steamy affair with dad Danny's wife Frankie (Debra Stephenson) was branded "sick" by many viewers, and Rupert admitted to not enjoying the level of fame that came with appearing in the ITV soap.
Unsurprisingly the controversial storyline all ended in tears, after Danny (Bradley Walsh) caught them in bed together and attacked Jamie.
The pair came to blows, resulting in Danny almost killing Jamie, after he was left unconscious in the canal.
Danny dived in to save him, but the pair never saw eye to eye again.
Apart from a brief comeback in 2011, Jamie has been absent from the cobbles since 2008, when he and girlfriend Violet (Jenny Platt) did a runner to London.
The couple took baby Dylan, who was fathered using Sean Tully's sperm - but they have since split up.
So what came next for actor Rupert Hill, who played the Baldwin bad boy?
In May 2013 he married his Corrie co-star and on-screen girlfriend Jenny Platt, after she gave birth to their daughter Matilda in April 2010.
