TV presenter Bear Grylls’ annual festival has racked up £750,000 of debt.

The survival expert and partners have pumped nearly £1million into Gone Wild Events Ltd — which handles finances behind the family event.

Documents seen by The Sun on Sunday show Bear put £280,000 into the business last year.

More cash was needed this year although the amount is not confirmed.

The festival began in Devon in 2021.

A Norfolk site was added this year.

Sam Ryder, McFly and Reef have all performed.

Bear, 50, is confident the business will survive.

He said: “I did help the team a few years back.

“Since then the Gone Wild community has truly risen to the challenge and this year was amazing.

"We’re back into a positive situation and are set to expand.”
