It has been specifically “screen-matched” to the scene where Alec Guiness’s character Obi-Wan Kenobi uses Jedi-mind tricks on a group of Sandtroopers saying: “These are not the droids you’re looking for.”

Brit stuntman Reg Harding wore the outfit in the movie, later subtitled Episode IV: A New Hope.

His name is inscribed inside the helmet.

The helmet and armour each have a guide price of £500,000 in Propstore’s sale in London on November 14.
