MARRIED At First Sight groom Nathan nearly threw up right before planning to tell his bride Lacey that he loves her.

The pair, who tied the knot seconds after meeting on the aisle, hopped in a helicopter and enjoyed a trip up in the sky for their last romantic date.

Tonight viewers have watched the remaining couples in the experiment spend some quality time together for the last time as part of the show.

Nathan and Lacey were treated to a helicopter ride - but unfortunately hunky Nathan didn't enjoy it.

While they were up in the air, the engineer told his wife that he thought he was going to be sick.

It was clear that he wasn't enjoying the ride and has soon as they touched down he got out of the helicopter straight away.

Still feeling nauseous, he asked Lacey to pass him a bag just in case he vomited.

While talking to the camera, he confessed that it probably wasn't the best thing to happen as he was going to drop the L bomb to his girl.

Luckily the couple got romance when they went for some drinks together.

Putting his travel sickness aside, he managed to tell Lacey what he wanted to say.

Nathan said: "I love you to the stars and back.";

The pair both fought back the tears as they smiled with joy at the romantic moment.

Lacey then told her husband that she'd bought him a present.

The office manager brought out a teddy that said exactly the same thing.

Nathan also bought her a gift - he got her a star.

"No one has ever done anything like that for me.

Mafs couples that have stood the test of time

Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.

The pair couldn't keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam's Doncaster home.

Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.

Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.

Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out - and excited for everything to come.”

Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.

Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.

"While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.

“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’

“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”

Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.

Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna's vegan lifestyle, the show's first same sex pairing are still going strong.

They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.

Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: "We're not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship."

"I've always been blocked and deleted, honestly that is beautiful," she said.

The end of this year's explosive series is nearly here.

There are just four couples left - Nathan and Lacey, Adam and Polly, Amy and Luke, and Sacha and Ross.

In Married At First Sight tradition, the couples will each face the final vows where they’ll decided whether or not to stay together.

And The Sun can exclusively reveal that during final vows next week, two couples will decide to stay together while two will split.

The Sun will keep the identities of which two couples break up a secret, so as to not to spoil the surprise for viewers.

A TV insider told us: “It’s very dramatic, emotional viewing. The finale basically sees the show end with a 50% success rate as two of the remaining four couples decide to continue with their relationships outside the show, while the other two call it a day.

“There are lots of tears and the outcome will surprise fans of the series.

“Of course, there are two reunion episodes to follow after the final vows, so it remains to be seen if the two surviving couples are still an item months after filming wrapped.”
