Watch the heartbreaking moment Sacha breaks down in tears and storms out of MAFS vow renewal after Ross DUMPS her
Plus, what happened with the couple after the show
FANS were left fuming when Sacha burst into tears in last night’s Married At First Sight UK episode.
With the hit E4 reality programme currently wrapping up its 2024 season, vow renewals are officially underway.
Sacha Jones, 29, married Ross McCarthy, 32, at the start of the series when sparks flew and everything seemed perfect between the pair.
The couple then went from strength to strength in their marriage, with them dubbed as one of the strongest couples early on in the series.
But not everything progressed as well as it could for the couple when cracks began to show and Ross’ temper began to flare.
Sacha was keen to move to Manchester to be with Ross, with her even open to leaving her life in Birmingham behind.
But with Ross’ temper leaving Sacha feeling torn, around the time of Home Stays, she decided against the move and wanted to stay in her hometown.
Then, last night during the couple’s vow renewal, Ross talked about needing to be close to his daughter in Manchester, which left Sacha in floods of tears.
Storming off in her white gown, Sacha couldn’t contain her emotions as tears rolled down her face and she sobbed loudly before running away.
But Sacha’s reaction came too early as Ross hadn’t finished his speech.
But when Sacha returned and Ross finished his speech, the tattooed hunk said he would move to Walsall to be with his wife.
Fans took to social media to brand Sacha as “selfish”, with one writing on X, “Sacha and her family, are incredibly selfish with their demands that Ross should move there.
“Absolutely no thought for his very young daughter!”
While another penned: “Am I the only one that thinks Sacha is so selfish, making Ross move away from his daughter because she can’t be away from her dad, so selfish.”
SACHA AND ROSS SPLIT
However despite their vow renewal ceremony ending in married bliss, it has been revealed that the couple split two weeks after filming wrapped.
A source told MailOnline: “Sacha had an incredible experience filming Married At First Sight UK and she truly thought her marriage with Ross would work.
Mafs couples that have stood the test of time
Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.
The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam’s Doncaster home.
Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.
Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.
Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out – and excited for everything to come.”
Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.
Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.
“While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.
“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’
“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”
Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.
Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same sex pairing are still going strong.
They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.
Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”
“She moved to Manchester to be with him but after just two weeks he went cold and ended their romance for good.”
MOVING ON WITH NEW GIRL
And it seems that Ross dumped Sacha to move on with a new flame, whom he met earlier this year.
Ross, who was the first deaf contestant on MAFS UK, and his new girl Magdalena started dating as early as June this year, it is believed.
He posted a screenshot of the couple, and penned: “You’re the best” to which she replied, “you’re welcome, you can keep me forever”.
He also added an ‘M’ to his Instagram account and she has reciprocated with an ‘R’ in her Instagram bio.
