Channel 4 is working on a new dating show that could see potential couples reunited

CHANNEL 4 is creating a new dating show, and it could be a rival to Ex On The Beach for drama, romance and sexual tension.

The new dating show for Channel 4 is being kept firmly under wraps, but it's thought the format will see single people come face to face with former lovers to see if the spark is still there.

The broadcaster is said to be currently recruiting singletons in their 20s and 30s who are 'fed up with the modern world of dating'.

The series is hoping to find a cast that want to 'find out if their first fling was the real deal', with single people meeting back up with the person they lost their virginity to.

In a similar reality style to Ex On The Beach, the programme is expected to see drama, romance and awkward moments to get viewers hooked.

The new series launch date is yet to be announced by Channel 4, but for those viewers keen to get this dating fix the broadcaster has another series launching.

Controversial show Virgin Island will air on Channel 4, which will show 12 virgins popping their cherries.

During the six-part series, the 12 virgins, who experience intimacy anxiety, will descend on the luxury island resort to follow a programme of treatments.

The series will be led by Celeste Hirschman and Danielle Harel, who run the Somatic Institute in San Francisco, which featured on Gwyneth Paltrow's Netflix show Sex, Love And Goop.

As part of their "orgasmic coaching", the women promote what they call “c*ckfidence” for men.
